Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 October 2026

These Terms of Service govern batterydealer.in and its store-management workspaces, owned and operated by RETAIL PAY (GSTIN: 24ABAFR1564K1Z7). Our address is PLOT NO. 36, BEHIND KANAIYA PAN, NEAR BAYPASS CHOKADI, Veraval, Gir Somnath, 362265, India.

1. Your agreement with RETAIL PAY

These terms apply to the subscribing business, its owner and authorised staff. Creating a store, purchasing a subscription or using the service confirms acceptance. If you do not accept the terms, do not register or continue using the platform.

Read these terms with the Privacy Policy and Refund / Cancellation Policy. A separately signed agreement takes priority for the matters it expressly covers. The service means the hosted software; your store means the business workspace you register.

2. What the subscription provides

batterydealer.in supports battery and inverter dealers with billing, quotations, inventory, purchases, customer and supplier records, accounts, staff management, repairs and service orders. Available features depend on your selected plan and workspace configuration.

The subscription is delivered electronically through access to your store workspace for the applicable plan period. Activation follows the payment-verification process described below; the plan status and expiry are available in your account. Purchasing the software subscription does not involve physical shipping.

RETAIL PAY supplies software. It does not become the seller of your products, your accountant, your employer or a party to transactions between your business and its customers or suppliers.

3. Who may register a store

Registration is for people aged 18 or above who can enter an agreement and are authorised to represent their business. When registering for a business, you confirm authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

Provide accurate store, owner, phone, email and account details and keep them current. Do not impersonate a business or register using information you are not entitled to use.

4. Store ownership and staff permissions

The store owner manages staff accounts and assigns permissions appropriate to their roles. Remove or deactivate access when a staff member leaves or no longer needs it. Staff should use their own authorised accounts.

The business is responsible for instructions it gives staff and transactions performed within authorised roles. Staff access does not transfer store ownership or permit changing another user's account security.

5. Passwords, authenticator apps and recovery

Protect passwords, authenticator setup keys, one-time codes and sign-in devices. Every user can configure two-factor authentication for their own account. Once enabled, login requires the password and an authenticator app code.

Report suspected compromise to care@batterydealer.in promptly. A platform super administrator can reset 2FA for recovery; the user must then enrol a replacement app. Support may verify your authority. Never send passwords or one-time codes in support requests.

6. Trial period and plan expiry

A new store receives a 10-day trial beginning at account creation. No subscription payment is required to create the trial account. Evaluate the available functions during that period.

Continued access after the trial requires an active subscription. Business functions may be restricted when a trial or paid plan expires. Expiry does not automatically delete store records.

7. Plan purchases, payments and renewal

Review the plan, price, duration, features, applicable taxes and total payable amount before paying. Follow the payment instructions displayed or confirmed by RETAIL PAY. A paid subscription is activated after successful payment verification and activation confirmation. The current plan-request process uses administrator confirmation; if online checkout is enabled, the displayed process may also use confirmation from the payment provider. A purchase request, payment attempt or bank debit alone does not confirm activation.

Renewal currently requires another plan request and payment confirmation. The application does not automatically debit your account. Retain payment receipts and references, and report activation or payment mismatches to support.

Future prices and plan offerings may change. An already confirmed purchase retains its agreed price and access period, subject to lawful suspension and cancellation under these terms. Different arrangements must be communicated before purchase or separately agreed.

8. Online checkout and payment providers

Where enabled, online subscription payments are processed through the third-party payment gateway or payment aggregator identified at checkout and its participating banks or payment networks. Available methods, such as UPI, cards or net banking, depend on the payment options actually offered. RETAIL PAY remains the supplier of the software subscription and the contact for plan activation, service complaints and eligible refunds.

Use a payment method you are authorised to use. The provider or bank may require its own authentication, checks and acceptance of applicable payment-service terms and privacy notices. Review those notices at the payment step. RETAIL PAY does not ask you to share card security codes, banking passwords, UPI PINs or payment OTPs through support messages.

Choosing an online payment method does not by itself create an automatic-renewal mandate. The current service requires a separate request and payment for renewal. Any future recurring-payment option would require clear disclosure of the amount or calculation, frequency and cancellation process, and your separate authorisation before recurring charges begin.

9. Payment status, failed payments and disputes

A pending or authorised payment may still fail or be reversed. If an amount is debited but your subscription is not confirmed, contact care@batterydealer.in with the store name, payment time, amount and transaction reference. Check the existing payment status before retrying so that you do not unintentionally pay twice. RETAIL PAY will check the transaction with the relevant payment provider or bank and confirm the next steps.

Failed-payment reversals and approved-refund credits depend on the transaction status, payment method and applicable bank or provider process and timelines. These terms do not replace any applicable statutory reversal, compensation or complaint rights. The 48-hour subscription refund-request window does not limit review of duplicate payments, failed payments, an unprovided subscription or an unauthorised-payment complaint.

Report suspected unauthorised use promptly to your bank or payment provider as well as RETAIL PAY. We may share the relevant order, payment and service records with the provider or bank to investigate a dispute. Refunds and bank disputes relating to the same payment will be reconciled to avoid paying the same amount twice; lawful chargeback and complaint rights remain available.

10. Permission to use the platform

An eligible account permits your business and authorised staff to use the hosted software for store operations during the applicable trial or subscription period.

A subscription does not transfer software ownership or permit reselling access to unrelated businesses, distributing proprietary code or bypassing plan restrictions. Rights permitted by applicable law or a relevant open-source licence remain unaffected.

11. Business records and compliance

Your business is responsible for entered prices, profit margins, purchase costs, stock movements, serial numbers, invoices, tax details and payments. Review automated calculations, selling-price adjustments and reports before relying on them.

The platform assists recordkeeping and does not replace professional accounting, tax or legal advice. Check applicable GST and invoice requirements for your business. Keep copies of important records using available downloads and exports.

12. Customer and supplier transactions

Your store sets product prices, delivery arrangements, warranty commitments and policies for repairs, returns and customer refunds. Communicate those arrangements clearly and meet the obligations that apply to your business.

RETAIL PAY's subscription refund policy covers software payments only. Product disputes, manufacturer warranties and purchase-party balances remain between the relevant parties. RETAIL PAY does not fulfil your store's product orders.

13. Responsible use and platform protection

Use the service for lawful business activity. Do not create fraudulent records, impersonate others, infringe rights, send unlawful or unwanted messages, or process information without authority.

Do not access another store's workspace, evade permissions, steal credentials, exploit vulnerabilities, upload harmful files or disrupt availability. Unauthorised bulk extraction, automated account creation and attempts to overwhelm the service are prohibited. Ordinary exports and approved integrations remain available within their permitted scope.

14. Your data and privacy

Your business retains its rights in the records it supplies. You authorise RETAIL PAY to handle them as necessary to host, operate, secure and support the platform, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. This does not transfer ownership of your records.

Ensure you have authority to enter and share customer, supplier and staff information, including required notices or permissions. Authorised platform administration may need access for maintenance, support, account recovery and security investigation.

15. Messages and external integrations

Invoice links, WhatsApp messaging and configured integrations can share selected information with recipients and external providers. Check recipients and message contents. Your business is responsible for messaging permissions and its configured provider credentials.

External providers have their own terms, charges and technical requirements. Provider outages or policy changes may affect integrations. External links do not make another provider's content or services part of RETAIL PAY's subscription.

16. Maintenance, software changes and support

Updates, maintenance, security work and unexpected faults may interrupt access. No specific uptime percentage or resolution deadline is included unless separately agreed in writing. Maintain suitable devices, a supported browser and an internet connection.

RETAIL PAY may update the software as the service develops. Material changes affecting purchased plans will be communicated through available service channels. Describe the affected store, time and issue when requesting support.

17. Cancellation and the 48-hour refund window

You may cancel a paid subscription and request a full refund of its payment within 48 hours of the payment timestamp. This window begins at payment, not trial creation or plan activation. Email care@batterydealer.in within that window with your store and payment details.

After verifying payment and your authority, RETAIL PAY will confirm cancellation and refund arrangements. Gateway processing fees charged to RETAIL PAY will not be deducted from an eligible full refund under this policy. Access provided by that subscription ends when cancellation is confirmed. The request window does not guarantee that funds reach your bank within 48 hours.

After 48 hours, an unused period or change of mind does not qualify for the standard refund. Duplicate or incorrect payments, a paid subscription that was not provided, and remedies required by law remain open for review. See the Refund / Cancellation Policy for the full process. Stop renewal by not requesting another plan.

18. Restricted access and account closure

Access may be restricted or suspended for expired plans, compromised credentials, fraud, harmful activity or a breach of these terms. An urgent security or legal issue may require immediate action. Contact support if you believe a restriction is incorrect.

An authorised store owner may request closure at care@batterydealer.in. Account closure, subscription cancellation and record deletion are separate requests; none automatically creates a refund. Accrued payment obligations and eligible refund requests remain subject to the applicable terms and law.

19. Exports and retention after closure

Download important records while the account is accessible. For closed or restricted accounts, ask support about available access, export or deletion assistance. Authority may need verification. No indefinite storage or restoration commitment is included unless separately agreed.

Retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy and applicable accounting, security and dispute-handling obligations. Closing an account does not require deletion of information that must lawfully be retained.

20. Software and brand ownership

The platform software, designs, logo and website materials belong to RETAIL PAY or their respective rights holders. Using a workspace does not grant ownership or permission to suggest an endorsement or partnership.

Your business name and records remain subject to your rights and relevant third-party rights. Respect applicable software licences and ownership notices when using integrations, exports or other materials.

21. Service expectations and responsibility for loss

Evaluate the service during the trial. A subscription does not promise uninterrupted access, error-free reports, prevention of every security incident or suitability for every business requirement. Separately agreed express commitments remain applicable.

To the extent permitted by law, RETAIL PAY is not responsible for indirect losses such as missed business opportunities or anticipated profit arising from use of the platform. Each party remains responsible for liabilities imposed on it by law. No term removes a mandatory remedy or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. Claims arising from store activity

Cooperate in resolving third-party claims arising from your unlawful use, records supplied without authority or breach of these terms. To the extent permitted by law, your business is responsible for reasonable losses and costs attributable to that conduct.

This responsibility does not extend to RETAIL PAY's own unlawful conduct or obligations placed on RETAIL PAY by law. Communicate relevant claims promptly and take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary costs.

23. Exceptional interruptions and revised terms

Events outside reasonable control, such as widespread network failures, natural disasters or government restrictions, may delay performance. Reasonable steps should be taken to reduce disruption. Accrued rights, eligible refunds and mandatory protections remain available.

Revised terms will be published with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated through the website or available account contact channels. Review notified changes before continuing use. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights associated with earlier purchases.

24. Resolving concerns and reading this agreement

Indian law governs these terms. Send service or payment concerns to RETAIL PAY with your store name and supporting details for review. Court jurisdiction and access to statutory complaint mechanisms are determined by applicable law; these terms do not remove those rights.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue where lawful. These terms, linked policies and any applicable separately signed agreement describe the service arrangement. Not enforcing a provision once does not prevent later enforcement.

25. Support and formal notices
